The end result was one of the most collectible autograph and game used sets of all time which initially carried a suggested retail price of only $4.99 per pack.
While today's card releases are saturated with sticker autographs, exclusive league contracts, redemptions, and $500 blister boxes, Fleer's Greats of the Game set continues to hold strong interest from collectors old and new. Card Manufacturers today cannot match the design, player checklist, affordability, collectability, and fun that Fleer brought to us over twenty-five years ago.
